When it rain's, it pours ...and we get stuck in traffic for an hour and a half

As we all know, this summer sucks! It's cold, it's rainy, I have to stay in all day and work (which makes every one's summer suck, because when Lindsay works all day it's nice out...Therefore my boss should just let me not work..ever...but still pay me and summer will be great!!!!...but anways onto my story) This weekend was particularly rainy and yucky! We were driving home from Justin's parents house, which only takes us about 2 hours. We had to make a quick stop off and pick up a truck and then we were back on our way, this really only took 15 minutes out of our travel time. So anyways, it wasn't really raining that much where we were driving, just some spitting so we didn't really think anything of it...until we hit traffic! We were listening to the radio and learned that the route we normally take was COMPLETELY flood, there was rocks crumbling off the sides, the river overflowed and there was a mudslide! Thank goodness we didn't take that way!! However, the water had leaked onto the QEW, and we hit DEAD traffic. We sat in the car for about ten minutes, not moving, and then decided to get out because everyone else in the surrounding vehicles started getting out the their vehicles. At this point it started getting nice and sunny, and hot!! So, we got out and talked to our friends who were in the truck ahead of us and sat on their tail gate waiting for traffice to move, this took about an hour and a half to two hours. I took these pictures and video of the ridiculous traffic and the water all over one part of the QEW, the video is after a lot of the water drained a bit.

Uh Helloo...like really...REALLY? Now come on now!

Okay..so most of you probably have seen this commercial ..and ever since it has come out it has really really really really ticked me off! It's the stupid Pizza Hut Tuscani Pasta commercial advertising their new pastas...It's the one where they take a family out for dinner, blindfold them and walk them into their home where they have their Pizza Hut dinner already set up. AS IF you wouldn't know that you were in your own home!! You would be able to sense it! This commercial, for some reason, makes me really really mad!!! LOL

That is all!

There are MONSTERS in my vajayjay!!!!

OK, Well this is probably the most interesting Title for a blog EVER and completely inappropriate...but whatev's!!

But...the title is true! I was watching "The Amazing Sperm Race" on the Discovery Channel and they told me so [pretty much] !

This show is ridiculous, it depicts the life of a sperm travelling to the egg and the many obstacles it has to overcome. Well...one of these obstacles are monsters.

The show has live people all dressed in white that are "sperm" and they are in a valley trying to get through the forest to find their way to the egg and then all of a sudden these monsters(people dressed in black with monster faces) who are some sort of antibody that attack things entering the woman, come and try to attack them. They jump on them and attack them.. I was scared.

Hence the fact that there are monsters in our vajayjay's...it's very scary!!!

......to go along with the many stupid things I say..

Justin and Lindsay watching the show:

L: "Oh My God JUSTIN, there are monsters in my Vajayjay!!!!!"
J: " I would hate to be a sperm these days"

True life conversation!

This is an actual picture of the clip from the show!!!

To Ride? Or Not to Ride?

Do I have it in me?
I haven't decided yet, but I think I want to do the 2010 Ride to Conquer Cancer. It isn't going to be easy! This ride is a 200km journey from Toronto to Niagara Falls, 100km per day, and you need $2500 raised in donations to ride. It would take a lot of work, and a bike ( I don't have one) but I know I could do it!! The ride raised over $14,000,000 this year with 3000 riders, and the team of 100 that I would be joining raised over $400,000. When I talk to people who did the ride, they say it is one of their greatest accomplishments. It's an emotional ride, as many people are lined on the country roads with signs saying things like: "Thank you for your support, we just lost our dad to cancer"...just being a part of something this big is so amazing. The struggle of going up the hills, and having the endurance to ride 200km is nothing compared to the hardships that people with cancer go through every single day!!! Every person is touched by cancer, whether it be a friend, or relative. My Grandma passed away from Cancer, and doing this would mean a lot to me. I want to help Conquer Cancer in my lifetime and I believe that if I miss out on this great opportunity I will regret it!!

All of the proceeds go to the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, which is one of the top hospitals for cancer research.

This is a slide show from an individual who did the ride this year, and it just shows the amount of people who commit to doing this. P.S all of the bikes with yellow flags are people fighting cancer/cancer survivors
